About David Sarnoff
DAVID B. SARNOFF, ESQ. is the founder of Sarnoff Group LLC. David brings over 20 years of experience and knowledge as an attorney, legal recruiter and executive coach.
In addition to his executive coaching, David engages in leadership development, team building facilitation and talent acquisition. He is also a Consultant to Loeb Leadership Development Group where he is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and an Executive Leadership Coach. David is certified to administer the emotional intelligence assessment EQi 2.0 and EQi 360.
David’s coaching model is to focus on facilitating opportunities for a client’s development and awareness in order to elevate their leadership capabilities while addressing other challenges to professional growth. David has honed his listening skills and use of self to guide clients to identify and discover blind spots. This practice supports development opportunities allowing his clients to discover solutions to individual challenges.
David is recognized for his professionalism and ability to blend client confidentiality with supporting the goals of the sponsoring organization. He is particularly adept at working with professionals responsible for leading others while maintaining their own set of responsibilities. He also works with those aspiring to be in leadership positions or individuals who have been identified to have gaps in their performance. David incorporates a strong advocacy for collaboration, establishing networks and team building in his coaching philosophy. He utilizes assessments where appropriate, including 360-degree interviews and feedback summaries.
In addition to his coaching and leadership development practice, David has delivered numerous large group presentations, sat on CLE panels and authored numerous articles that include topics such as adaptability, soft skills, coaching for attorneys and emotional IQ. David has also co-authored several articles on executive coaching, feedback, and grit and resilience, among other topics.
He has coached law firm partners, associates and executives in multiple industries. Sample engagements include:

* Coached an assistant general counsel, at a financial services company, with leadership skills, time management and career consulting.

His approach to recruiting is to guide his candidates through the process with an honest, insightful and objective perspective. David believes that the exchange of accurate information, treated with confidentiality and professionalism, is vital to serving the needs of both clients and candidates.
Prior to founding the Sarnoff Group, David co-founded Morandi, Taub & Sarnoff, LLC, after working at a legal search firm in New York. He placed scores of attorneys from a variety of disciplines at prominent law firms, hedge funds, investment banks and other companies throughout the United States, South America and Europe.
He also served as a Trustee on the Fort Lee Board of Education for six years. He presided as Board President for three consecutive years from 1/2015 to 1/2018. In 2015, he was awarded the Archie Hay Award for leadership and distinguished service by the Bergen County School Boards Association. This award is presented annually to one board member out of approximately 550 members. In July 2018, David was appointed to the Advisory Committee of the New Jersey Association of School Resource Officers (NJASRO). David also serves on the Mental Health Task Force of the New Jersey School Boards Association.
David earlier practiced law at a New York law firm in the areas of complex commercial litigation and white collar defense. He graduated from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was on the Dean's List and received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Hofstra University.

About Dominic Morandi
DOMINIC P. MORANDI, ESQ. is a consultant with the Sarnoff Group, LLC. Dom was a founding principal of Morandi, Taub & Sarnoff LLC. He now works on selected searches and assignments with his longtime business partner and friend, David Sarnoff. Dom has extensive experience, both as a recruiter and as an attorney. This combination of experience provides him with the knowledge and credibility to counsel clients and candidates from several perspectives.
Dominic's search philosophy is based on four principles: integrity, knowledge, insight and guidance. He believes that the search process should emphasize a candid exchange of information. Attorneys who work with Dominic are provided with detailed information about firms and corporations, which is paramount to making a wise career decision. Since the search process has many layers, Dom embraces a "start to finish" service model, guiding candidates and clients through every step of the process. He is a regular speaker on lateral hiring and career development at bar association seminars.
Dom is also a Senior Vice President at First Nationwide Title Agency, LLC in New York City, where he is a member of the national sales team. Dom has developed and continues to build extensive contacts in the real estate industry.
Before becoming a search consultant, Dom was a litigator at Windels, Marx, Davies & Ives, where he handled complex commercial litigation. During his law firm tenure, he worked on several high-profile litigations and engaged in extensive appellate practice. Thereafter, Dom was litigation and regulatory counsel at New York Life Insurance Company, where he counseled senior executives on numerous legal issues.
Dominic graduated from Brooklyn Law School where he was Chairman of the Moot Court Board. He also received the Moot Court Award and was selected for membership in The Order of Barristers. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Georgetown University.
